Description & Ingredients

Ingredients:

1 salad (curly leaf, lamb's lettuce, lettuce) or a mixture of different salads
4 eggs
150 g of Philippe WAGNER Country Bacon (or Philippe WAGNER Country Bacon cut into sticks)
1 white or red onion (optional)
3 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. of vinegar (honey, balsamic, etc.)
Salt and pepper from the mill
Mustard

A typical salad that can also be garnished with Philippe WAGNER's dry-cured ham for those with a sweet tooth!

Preparation:

Harden the eggs; peel and halve them.

Clean and drain the salad.

Cut the onion into thin slices.

In a salad bowl, prepare a small vinaigrette: mix oil, vinegar with a pinch of salt and pepper. Add a little mustard to taste, but in this case, it is not necessary to add salt.

Place the salad on top and arrange the hard-boiled egg halves.

Fry the bacon in a little oil.
Stir and drizzle with vinegar and pour the contents of the pan over the salad.
Stir just before serving and enjoy without delay!

Tips and Tricks:

You can replace the hard-boiled eggs with soft-boiled or poached eggs and add small toasted bread crumbs to add crunch to your salad.

Baby greens, spinach, arugula and dandelions are delicious prepared this way. You can also choose to add a few small endives to add a touch of white or red color depending on the variety chosen.

Try pumpkin seed oil, also called "green gold" in Austria because of its dark green color. It is very rich in omega 3 and its fine taste, with a hint of hazelnut, will bring a refined touch to your salad! It goes particularly well with the typical taste of Lardons Paysans and Lard Paysan Philippe WAGNER.
